Who I am? I am Sasha Fierce.

Who I am? I am Sasha Fierce.
"I have someone else that takes over when it's time for me to work and when I'm on stage, this alter ego that I've created that kind of protects me and who I really am," Beyonce said talking about her alter ego Sasha Fierce. I think we all have a little bit of Sasha Fierce in us, I know I do.
Although I have not gotten the opportunity to take my alter ego on stage like my idol Beyonce, my alter ego does decide to show up when it’s time for me to work. I like to say “she” is a perfect way to describe who I am. “She” is me plus so much more. When “she” takes over, it’s like I’m fearless, exciting, and bold; she is my Sasha Fierce.
When I channel my Sasha Fierce, its comparable to a high for me.  I feel like I’m stepping out of my own body to become something much more. I’m not intimidated by anyone, and there is nothing that could bring down my confidence. This comes in perfectly during a soccer game. By having my alter ego play for me, I don’t have to worry about making a bad pass or messing up my touch. Because I have that ultimate confidence there is no way I have to even worry about making a mistake. Soccer is such a mental game, you could have the most skill in the world but if you don’t have confidence it’s worthless. The challenge is to find that alter ego; I have to be completely focused in order to become that Sasha Fierce.
Part of being Sasha Fierce means becoming a real diva. Urban dictionary defines a diva as: “A bitchy woman that must have her way exactly, or no way at all. often rude and belittles people, believes that everyone is beneath her and thinks that she is so much more loved than what she really is. Selfish, spoiled, and overly dramatic.” Although my diva status isn’t that extreme, while I am in my alter egos shoes I do not take other peoples nonsense. I will not let people walk right all over me, and there is no doubt I will be standing up for myself or anyone else who needs me. I’m not afraid to say what’s on my mind, and I don’t care what people will think of me after I let my thoughts out.
Some people may think it’s just being rude, but whether it’s on the soccer field, a school event, or just a regular day, to me it is important for people to bring out their inner diva or alter ego. It’s not about being the queen diva; it’s more about having that extreme confidence in you.  Everyone should have that time where they have complete confidence. My alter ego describes who I am, but for others, it may be a once in a lifetime event. Don’t be afraid to say what’s on your mind, and be Sasha Fierce.
